MIDORI-CHAN 『みどりちゃん』

MIDORI-CHAN 『みどりちゃん』is a short horror comic inspired by the film 『(地下幻燈劇画 少女椿』by Hiroshi Harada, based on the comic『少女椿』 by Suehiro Maruo.  A mix of illustration and poetry, MIDORI-CHAN 『みどりちゃん』is a small love letter to the ero-guro genre as well as the films of the Japanese horror boom that inspired me and my work both in adolescence and today.

A physical zine of MIDORI-CHAN 『みどりちゃん』will debut at the New Orleans Comic and Zine Festival (NOCAZ) on November 18-19, 2017. Proceeds from this digital copy help fund the creation of those zines and others!
