FAC is an unflinching look at the way we perpetuate the cycles of abuse, within ourselves as well as outwardly with others; it combines poetic and sparse prose with impactful imagery that delights in its layers of complexity while leaving both everything and nothing to the imagination of the reader. It reads like a very lived in piece, the characters allowing you glimpses into what makes them tic, what motivates even their most unsavory actions. The contrasting parallel panels are stunning, providing small hints at what the larger theme of the piece conveys: we love, and hate, in the ways we know how. All in all, another stunning edition to Claude’s beautiful, evocative and ever-expanding library of literary mythos.
BEAUTIFUL SHOWSTOPPING INCREDIBLE the imagery is so haunting and evocative and the subject matter hits so hard, its incredibly cathartic and i highly recommend!
